Growth in pain

A purpose for pain was posted prior to this but this concept needed to at least be a micro-series.

Pain, the very thing humans run from, is the doorway to their freedom. Everything in this world is made up of energy, including feelings and emotions. When we experience pain, it arrives in the form of a localized energy, if it’s an injury or it arrives in an emotion which is also energy. Everything is made of pulses, frequency and waves. When pain shows up, it seeks to be allowed passage, like a current so it can travel through you, thus completing its cycle.

Lightning seeks grounding, if someone or something is between it, they get struck. Electrical current seeks grounding, if something or someone is in the way, they get shocked. Rushing water seeks the path of least resistance, when it can’t find it, it brings with it great destruction. So, it is with us. When we resist, wherever we put up a block, comes stagnation, what needed to find grounding cannot be released.

After years of resisting we become the amalgamation of all the experiences and feelings, we resisted releasing through experiencing them.

See the trouble is that we have this idea in our head that our lives are supposed to go exactly the way we want them to but before we ever arrived here there was already a plan in place. When we are insisting on our agenda, that too creates resistance and causes destruction. So, if your life falls apart, it’s a realignment because the torrent of water must find the path of least resistance. The lightning and the electrical current must ground.

We stand in the way of what must happen, what must come, in order to avoid the very thing that is going to shape us into who we came here to be and experience the things we were meant to experience.

Life ISN’T rainbows and fuzzy kittens every day, it wasn’t meant to be. We are here to experience the full gamut of humanness that we were intended to experience. This is why it is foolish to judge others for the things they are experiencing in their lives, you don’t know what they came here to do. Hell, most of the time they don’t know for themselves either! Life is experience. Life is challenges. Life is highs and lows. Being human isn’t without bumps and turns those are the things that grow us, that give us an opportunity to see what we are made of, how strong we are. Why would you want to run?

I wouldn’t be who I am today without having allowed these things to shape me, rather than resisting them. Of course it was uncomfortable, but where there is comfort there is no growth and where there is no growth, there is stagnation and death. I am a living being, not a dying one. Completing the cycle with pain and allowing it to move through you is living. Running and avoiding it is choosing to stagnate.

Choose life. Always choose life. Pain and sorrow come and go and on the other side is a new beginning. Bask in the joy of new beginnings, think of all the things you can do with a clean slate. Reinvent yourself, reinvigorate yourself, become alive again. Become a feeling, experiencing human again. Not a human who stagnates and seeks comforts in exchange for growth. Choose life, always choose life.

Blessings xx
