I’ve been seeing something alarming trending lately. I have seen a lot of women come forward and share having been assaulted by someone they either went out on a date with or someone in general. The fact that this is even an issue is alarming, but what is even more alarming is the male response…

I’ve posted things about this on social media before, that women aren’t kept safe by men anymore and the man doesn’t have to be the one doing the assaulting, he simply has to be indifferent.

From one of my all-time favorite movies, there is a quote at the beginning that has defined our world we see today…
“They all just watched as Kitty was being stabbed to death in broad daylight. They watched as her assailant walked away. Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most is the indifference of good men.”  The Boondock Saints, 1999.

Indifference. Apathy. Laziness. Harsh heartedness. Lacking empathy. Flaccid. Halfhearted. This is the plague of many men.

A woman make a comment about something awful that a man said or did, another man jumps on her and accuses her of bringing it upon herself. “Maybe you shouldn’t dress like that.” “You shouldn’t have pissed him off.” “She’s making it up to get back at him for something.” “She’s a drama queen.”

Men laughing whilst women are being assaulted and raped or worse yet, killed— because they went on a date with a man who faked his personality.

Where is the error here?

We should have chosen better. That’s another classic line I’ve read time and time again. Maybe yeah in some instances when all the signs are there to run like hell but that isn’t always the case! Where is the error here? Men aren’t protecting women anymore; they are actively supporting this kind of behavior in their silence or their persecution of women who are assaulted. Silence is agreement.

Men are still proudly congratulating one another about “getting that ass”— when there’s a woman attached to it who might think you actually care for and like her. From what I’ve seen in comments and in a lot of my interactions is that men don’t even like women, they just want what they have. They don’t want to love and nurture them. They don’t want to build a life with them and protect them, they just want that ass and for them to bear them an heir. A lot of men are still back in biblical times where a man would sell his wife in exchange for a damn goat if he could.

I’m not on here saying women are innocent. But that isn’t the point of this blog share. The point is, the male loneliness epidemic is only going to grow because the men who claim themselves to be good are sitting idly by watching women get assaulted or smeared and not saying a word about it. In fact, with all your woman jokes, you’re supporting it.

Sure, I’ve posted videos about the dating pool looking like the worlds depraved and rejected pumping themselves up to not get picked. But I’ve also clapped back about women wearing 30 pounds of makeup and using a hundred filters on their photos and crying about why he doesn’t like you for you…

Men and women do not live in the same world. I read somewhere recently that it was googled over 164 million times in 2025, how to m*rder a woman and have her body not be found. Seriously!? 164 million times, in 2025!?!

When women go out on a date, we have to concern ourselves with back up plans, escape routes and public places. We have to wonder if we’re going to make it home that night. We have to notify people where we are going to be and who we are going to be with. We have to check for police records. No, we don’t want to hand out our phone number right away because you can find our home address that way. Men gotta worry about if she looks like her picture and if she actually has a dick. We do not live in the same world.

Men… I get that you have had some bad experiences too. I truly do. And I’m sorry you have. If I could wipe out anything from this world, it would be trauma so people would stop hurting one another. If you consider yourself a good man, please do the world a favor and not contribute to this continued sick state of exploitation. Just like the J.E. files have been a very disgusting shock to many, another form of abuse and exploitation, this too, is exploitation and abuse. If you’re pissed off that justice isn’t being served on a grand scale, how just are you living exploiting women or supporting it?
