It has been far too easy to prick the finger of the collective and watch it eek out it’s temperamental goo, citing offense. I used to do this on purpose, for fun because I was a different person back then and had little regard for other people’s feelings, save my own. Even my own were in question whilst reviewing some of my former life decisions…

Is it a sign of the times, the need to critique and nit-pick every little thing that people share? Has it been bred into us to not only hold an opinion but also barf it all over the place as though it actually holds any value? Some people find pleasure in talking just to hear themselves speak because they hold themselves in such high regard. I am, in real life, a rather quiet person on a daily basis. I feel and perceive much more than I discuss. There is a rhythm to life and I move with it, rather than talk my way out of it. I am a firm believer in the idea that maybe it isn’t happenchance that we have 2 ears and a whole lot of other senses (some of us more than others) and only one mouth. Yes, one mouth.

Jesus said that we are not defiled by what we put in our mouth but by that which comes out of it. And where those thoughts begin is in the mind, a place which cannot be found within the human body as any physical place— though traces of it, like the brains neural pathways reveal the evidences of the mind, though the physical constructs of the mind remain unseen…

If your mind is operated by your egoic self, the self with whom needs to be seen, heard, understood and affirmed you will run your mouth more. You need to be petted and stroked and told that you’re a good little sheep.

If you break the mind or if life breaks your mind, thus side stepping the egoic mind and moving with the thrums and frequencies of life, you will have life, not just the illusion of it. Not the aesthetic, you will have true life.

To be the master over your mind and possess self control over all things concerning the self, you will know a power that many men attempt to wield via control and deceit.

Because when you zoom out and see the big picture that is being painted here, the whole point is evolution, to subdue the carnal senses and remember who you truly are. The life within you, to connect the fact that the world you create within yourself is also the sort of world that you will live in, without. The two are one in the same. If there is hell within, there will be hell without. Make no mistake, this is true whether you believe it to be so or not.

Mind yourself and your carnal desires, wield the power that they have within them and use it for good, for your own evolution and for the betterment of all.
